Laptops are portable computers that can operate on battery power, making them ideal for use in areas with unreliable electricity supply. They combine the functionality of a desktop with the convenience of mobility, allowing students to study anywhere. In contrast, desktop computers require a constant power source, while mainframe and mini computers are typically used in larger organizational settings.
